ACROPOLIS NOW!

About Acropolis Now! :

Acropolis Now! was created in 1989 by Nick Giannopoulos, George Kapiniaris and Simon Palomares.

In this smash hit comedy show, Giannopoulos, Kapiniaris (Greek) and Palomares(Spanish) play a bunch of wogs that work in a bar called Acropolis Now!, whick is in the western suburbs of Melbourne. The owner of the bar is Kostas Stephanides, who is the father of Jim Staphanides.

But when Kostas leaves the Acropolis Now! to head for Greece in the first episode, he puts Jim the owner, Ricky Martinez in charge of the money and Agamemnon Hadzidimitropoulos(or Memo) the head waiter, anything could happen!

During Acropolis Now! the wogboys meet and hire Liz, Skip (the cook), Manolis (the cook), Alfredo (the Italian) and Suzanna. They also have Effie (Jim's cousin) around to deal with. Down the track Ricky leaves.

Boy these wogs get into alot of trouble! Say something and they've done it. They've changed the bar, met a proxy fom Greece, become Greek priests, looked after a Spanish baby, got into trouble with the tax department. You name it, they've done it! And that's only a few episodes!
